Adil Jain

Fashion and Commercial Photographer

The son of an Indian Army officer, Adil traveled widely across India and studied at 9 different schools. He received a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature from the University of Delhi in 1997 and an Associates in Applied Sciences in Photography (with Honors) from Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming in 1999. He has photographed for various publications including Cosmopolitan (India), Verve, Femina, T.O.I Sunday Review and First City. His work has been featured in Time (Asia), India Today, Outlook and Elle (India).


Adil held a solo exhibit, a series of black & white portraits from the Maha Kumbha pilgrimage at Allahabad, at the Visual Arts Gallery in New Delhi in March 2001. He has also participated in the Royal Photographic Society Print Exhibition in England and group shows in Mumbai. He currently lives and works in Mumbai.
