Photojournalist and Documentary Photographer

Mumbai-based Chirodeep’s tryst with photojournalism was triggered off about 15 years ago by a chance purchase of a second-hand copy of LIFE magazine from a footpath bookseller near Mumbai’s Flora Fountain. Since then he has worked with various newspapers, magazines and a travel website, and is currently employed with TimeOut, Mumbai. His work has been published in India and abroad, and his photographs appear in as many as six books on the city of Bombay. The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts, Japan holds his work in their permanent collections.
