Currently shooting for a publishing house in Dubai, Vipurva photographs people, places and fashion because he hates going to bed hungry. He photographs animals because it makes him happy. With Jimmy, he has captured a slice of life of an 18-month-old mongrel German shepherd "who finds immense joy in shoe stealing, junk food binging, and canonballing around the beach." Regarding Showgirls, he says, "I met them at a camel farm in the desert around Dubai. Beautiful, mysterious, graceful, they were the perfect personification of the Arabian desert. I was completely smitten."
